Dubai International Airport More Than Just A Travel Hub

Dubai strives to have many firsts in the world, from the ever famous The Palm Dubai which will be the worlds largest man made islands that extends their coastal line by 520 kilometres, to the unveiling of The Burj Dubai which has recently been declared as the worlds tallest tower. This city of the world is a force to reckon with; they enjoy the finer things in life and make no qualms about achieving it. As one of the first countries to introduce the concept of an annual shopping festival, it is safe to assume that the ardent shopper will be overjoyed with the vast array of items available to them. Dubai is home to over 4,000 restaurants that serve just about every type of gourmet cuisine known to man, from the freshest sashimi to the juiciest steak. There is so much to see and do in Dubai, from dessert safaris to cruises on the Dubai Creek, or for the more adventurous there is always sandboarding.

Accommodating over a hundred airlines that fly to over a 200 destinations across the globe, the Dubai International Airport can be considered the epicentre of travel to most parts of the world. As with the rest of the city, the airport is constantly under development to expand, innovate and create new experiences for the passenger. Some of the services available while you are departing or entering Dubai International Airport are; banking, a selection of 25 food outlets, business facilities, a business centre, a childrens play area, a special area for mothers, lounges for business and first class travellers, a medical centre, prayer room, postal office, duty free shopping, special needs services and a transfers desk.
